Morningside Care Home serves to meet the holistic needs of older individuals, who for a number of reasons, can no longer remain in their own home. The aims of the Care Home are focused on the individual who is at the heart of all decision making.

Aims:

It is our pledge that you will be able to live in Morningside Care Home in a homely environment with dignity, where you will be treated as an individual, free from discrimination, feeling safe, secure and having the respect of those who support you.

Our dedicated team of staff will work in partnership with you and the wider multidisciplinary team to provide you with the highest standard of quality nursing, medical, spiritual and social care and attention, tailored to your needs and wishes and as required by the National Care Standards and as Current Legislation dictates. We will do this via the recognition and nurturing of your individual capabilities, the sensitive acknowledgement of any disability you have and developing our understanding of your changing needs.

We acknowledge that you are entitled to live a full and active life and we are committed to supporting you the “older person” living here at Morningside Care Home to conserve your place in society. By recognising you as a unique individual we aim to enable you to exercise your rights, make your own choices and decisions, participate within the wider community, maintain and develop relationships, enjoy valued, meaningful activities and empower you to achieve your full potential and remain as independent as possible.
